Each package is designed based on your individual household needs. For example, if you enjoy streaming or gaming online, Megorilla Fast would likely be your best option because these are both data-heavy activities that require a lot of bandwidth.

By contrast, if you only go online to check emails or casually browse social media, Roarlly Fast should suffice, as it’s still faster than standard ADSL broadband but probably won’t support large movie downloads or real-time games.

Earth broadband costs

Earth broadband deals are priced on the premise that the faster the broadband speed, the more you pay.

This means that choosing a suitable tariff will depend on your household size and budget.

As well as monthly charges, there does appear to be a one-off delivery charge for router installation and connection. This is currently priced at around £19.99, but as with any costs related to Earth broadband deals, it could rise depending on the current rate of inflation and network policy changes.

Taking out an Earth broadband deal for a fixed term of 12 months also requires a setup fee of around £60.

If you want to cancel any of Earth broadband deals, you’ll need to pay a charge of £35. You’ll also need to return the router at your own expense or you could face a £60 penalty.

But there is a 24-month option for Earth broadband deals that removes the £60 setup fee.
